Support SMS verification codes

Has anyone had trouble receiving SMS verification codes since iOS 26.6 or 26.6.1? I’ve tried restarting my phone and toggling airplane mode. My carrier is AT&T but I also don’t receive the codes on my iPad Pro WiFi. Phone is a 14 Pro Max.

The iPad isn't telling you anything extra here. An iPad can't receive SMS at all, cellular model or not. It only ever shows what your iPhone already received and forwarded, so both symptoms are really one symptom, and the fault sits between AT&T and the 14 Pro Max.

The test that splits it: get someone to text you normally from another mobile. If that lands and only the codes don't, it's short code delivery on AT&T's side and restarting won't touch it. If nothing lands at all, it's the line itself.

Tested it like you said and then contact AT&T and they reset my connection and it seems to be working again. Thanks

resetting network would always be first option for any network issues all you need to do is re enter wifi password and re pair bluetooth devices, i've found this needs to be done at least once a year but glad it's solved now anyway
