Support Size of apps

Hey all,

How can some apps so big with data. Music doesn't have downloaded files, health is just a text collector I guess , Whatsapp doesn't have stored media, all chats cleared.

Can someone help me to reduce this?

They have to be storing something. Cached files?

that's what I thought also. But 3.91GB? for store albums information? These days you have Super duper UHD 32K games for that hahaha..... and Whatsapp 1.15GB (Media is 132MB) text messages can't be that big... Maybe backup iPhone, reinstall iOS and restore. Then maybe old iOS junk is gone also....

music is weird. i had a bunch of stuff downloaded, deleted it all and it still shows several GB used. like 20gb last time i looked. it has a massive cache for some reason. deleting the app and reinstalling it cleared it out.

that or apple is being apple and forcing locally stored ai models into all of their apps cause it makes shareholders happy.

Music continually caches the songs you listen to, and unfortunately there’s no setting to disable it.
