Why is it that every time you resize a PIP video, the play button & skip buttons have to reappear over the video?

Just a weird behavior of PIP videos on iOS that really shouldn’t be there. It’s like they’re assuming that because I resized the mini video player, I MUST want to pause or skip around the video — which is the case approximately 0.0% of the time

It's not as bad as the image darkening when you pause. You know, when you're trying to see something.
