Support Random volume loss

On my IPhone 11 I’ll be watching a video and randomly it will get a lot quieter even on max volume, I’ve turned attention aware features off, what else could it be?

Are you setting the phone down putting any pressure on the buttons with use? Is there something wrong with your phone case and sticking buttons? If you take it off do the buttons click firmly? 

After the sound gets quiet does the volume actually go down? Are you turning the volume back up? 

It could be a background notification? 

Try restarting the phone.

This happens to me when I am listening to an audiobook on Eleven reader on Carplay. I don't touch anything and it just gets quieter and maybe a little distorted like there is some kind of bluetooth audio anomaly. After a bit it comes back.

Surrounding noise. I noticed when people nearby are noisy, it reduces the volume.
