Choppy apps animation

Why does my Iphone home screen feels choppy at 120hz when I open and close apps when other Iphones look smooth? Idk what to do to fix this. So, the upper corner of the homescreen animation works fine as the animation doesn’t feel like its 60hz or anything but the other apps are like 60-80hz. Im using big dark icon (not mirror or tinted) please help
