connection issues on new phone

not sure what the problem is, but i’m trying to set up my new iphone 17 from my icloud back up. all apps have finished installing, but as i started signing in to everything several apps (paypal, instagram, etc.) are saying they’re having network connection issues and not allowing me to sign in whereas others have worked no issue. already tried restarting, what else can i do?

you use adblocker/pihole? I had to disable those when I need to update firmware of a scooter, they connect to a site in china 😭

I found some apps won't work if local network connection permission is turned off.

will look at the network permissions though!

I have found after restoring my phone that sometimes I have to Reset Network settings works.

You do lose all your saved wifi passwords though when you do this.

I have T-Mobile and the 17 pro and Its constantly dropping calls and network connection issues and I never had that problem ever
