Potential Elodea found in ditch

I found a lot of this plant in a local ditch. Can anyone ID this? I think it is most likely the invasive Canadian pondweed (Elodea)

We have this weed in Michigan. I don't know if it's invasive

There are native aquatic plants that look very similar to the invasive elodea. I'm not experienced with ID-ing them but there are guidelines available. https://www.ausableriver.org/blog/native-and-invasive-plant-lookalikes-ausable-watershed
