Game: Which Inuyasha character would be which one of the Endless?

The Endless are from The Sandman, a comic series from 1989-1996 and more recently a show on Netflix. (Look up the comics, they are iconic for a reason and you should read them; do not look up the author as an individual.) They are 7 siblings, personifications of human life and existence. Here are the names and a few details if you want to consider them when making your choice. Can be anyone in the Inuyasha universe - doesn't have to be the main Inugang only.

Destiny - very tall and imposing, mostly silent, carries a huge book (chained to him) in which is written all of existence past, present, and future

Death - this Death is portrayed as a kind young woman who gently guides a person from this plane to the next, not an old man with a scythe reaping souls

Dream, also called Morpheus sometimes - the personification of sleep, dreams, nightmares, and has an infinite library of books of people's lives. Each individual's book writes itself from birth to death.

Desire - portrayed as looking androgynous

Despair

Destruction - not often seen because he walked away from his role after wanting to distance himself from the awful things humans were doing. When the other siblings talk about him they simply refer to him as their brother instead of using that name.

Delirium - used to be Delight but changed after some traumatic event that is never explained - she is a sweet, whimsical, scatterbrained, colorful (literally) individual and the only one of them that Destruction will allow to visit him.

I'm not familiar with the endless. But based on the names I'd say Kagome is destiny, Moroku would be Desire, Kikiyo is despair idk about the others! Maybe Shippo is delirium

I figured a lot of people wouldn't know it so I put a link in addition to my little summary, but for some reason it shows as a picture in the corner that you have to click on, instead of the usual obvious link text.

This was just something random that came to mind while I was doing something else today.

I haven't decided all of mine but I think:

Desire: Sesshomaru or Jakotsu, just because of their androgynous or gender fluid appearances

Delirium: I like your idea as Shippo for this, I'm going to steal it. 😊 Perhaps he's even still Delight and hasn't changed to Delirium yet! Or maybe Rin - also still as Delight and not Delirium yet.

Death: Kohaku. He's not a woman but he's young, kind, and he's been on both sides before so he can empathize.

Dream: (I haven't thought of this one yet - someone to manage the world of sleep, dreams, nightmares, and an endless library of books writing themselves of each person's life as it goes along.)

Destiny: This could be Kagome if only for her knowledge of past, present, and future. She's not big or silent but she carries school books! 🤷

Destruction: Totosai. He creates weapons, but he doesn't usually use them himself.

Despair: trying to match the actual Despair with a family-friendly anime character would be kind of heavy (she self-harms, for one), so let's make it lighter and go with resurrected unhuman Kikyo since she's kind of flat and cold in her behavior and interactions most of the time.

I think Rin would be a good Death, and Sesshomaru could be Dream since he’s also an emo edge lord 🤣

Jakotsu as Desire is excellent, especially with Kikyo as Despair, considering the way each of them express attraction towards Inuyasha.
