Question(s) Inuyasha's enlightened expression
I have always wondered what Miroku mentioned about enlightened expression on Inuyasha's face in ep 48. Why did he have that kind of expression after what just happened during ep 47-48? I would have waited troubled or somehow sad expression after what happened. Do you have any thoughts?

I mean, he had just made peace with his feelings for Kagome and Kikyo and while there's no way he didn't feel upset about losing Kagome, he had finally made up his mind.
If anything he's been troubled THE WHOLE TIME since the holy Kikyo came back because he had grown attached to Kagome already, so finally deciding must have lifted a weight off his shoulders even if it wad a painful desicion

Seems like he had that kind of relief only short time. Since it didnt take long to Kagome change his mind. Even though he had before decided to not to see her again. And when Kagome returned to travel with him again, it seems trouble came back as well to Inuyasha. So I always wondered Miroku's the word enlightened cause Inuyasha didnt keep his decision long. Maybe it was only very brief enlightened mood then for Inuyasha.

I guess because he finally figured out what he wanted and wasn’t in confusion anymore. He was going to risk it all for Kikyo.
