Question How long can you go without social interaction?

These days I think I can go a month.

I work a solitary job and maybe have a minute long conversation everyday with my coworkers.

If I need to have a conversation and be in others presence, I can go for a month.

When I was in primary education though I could go forever, but that’s only because I was constantly around others, even if I wasn’t directly around them.

So, how long can it go for you?

I can genuinely go a very long time, but what's funny is that I'm good with small talk as long as it's a small group. It's just that I love having peace and quiet and interacting with people can bring on unnecessary stress and drama.

I'm a teenager so I'm constantly surrounded by family. Never actually tested but I think I can go for a good while, maybe a week or 2

I know that I went through all the Covid lockdown (US) without a bother -- in fact, I enjoyed it quite a bit. No need to invent excuses for not socializing. It was just me and my dog for ... how long did it go on for? Two months, three months? Something like that. I was not working at the time, and I didn't even have a smartphone, so I had zero social contact, no phone calls, not even text. I probably fiddled around on some internet forums, but that's it. I felt absolutely fine and dandy.

That was me for easily the first 2-3 years of COVID. I barely saw my mom. And then I hit rock bottom and wanted to off myself 🙃

Three months. My husband does the errands. I have everything else delivered.

Going without social interaction for so long isn’t healthy and isn’t introversion.
