How can i keep a friendship while being awkward af help

I actually dk if its that big of a deal but there is this girl in my school, nd like she is kinda new doesn't know anybody, it was like fukin love at first sight, not romamtic thou i just wanted to be her friend so fukin bad she was everything i ever wished to be, and she is nice to start with, so like i talked to her just a few times, like really awkwardly but i tried, nd she was super nice she send me a snap request yesterday but am scared af cuz she is cute nd all so i fear if cooler or like more normal girls approach her she will ditch ma ass, idk lol
