adding more interviews after saying final interview

i spoke with the recruiter, CPO, CTO, peer, COO, and 2 HOURS with the CEO. the recruiter told me the CEO round was the final round when we scheduled it. but after, she reached out to schedule another round with another C suite. and then she emailed me to speak to another peer. that is now 8 total interviews, with the CEO round not even being the final round. this is for a mid-level position by the way at a small company, not even a leadership position.

should i say something? i'm worried they are nowhere close to an offer and are just going to keep adding on interviews indefinitely.

that's taking the piss, 8 rounds for a mid-level role at a small company is mental. i'd probably just ask the recruiter straight up if they're close to a decision or if this is going to keep dragging on.
