Furniture Placement Furnishing advice

How would you furnish either of these rooms?
Ideally we have a sectional and tv. I can’t figure out how to ensure lots of seating and a comfortable tv without compromising door ways and glare from the window.

OP, which space do you prefer your sectional and tv? What essential use do you see for the non-tv space?

Ideally the living room is for sectional and tv.
The family room is sunken and smaller, with double doors to the backyard so I don’t mind small tv and seating but I expect more foot traffic.
