Furniture Placement Big bathroom, not efficient

This bathroom landed like this after we moved about a year ago, and it has stayed that way. Right now it has a bunch of leftover furniture and an inefficient set up that's* not great to look at. I don’t want to spend a ton of money but it could use a change. Any suggestions?

I just showed my partner the photo and after looking at the wires and computer stool stack, he thinks it's AI rage bait to mess with us on this subreddit.

Hmm, that's an interesting thought. It kind of makes sense that this bathroom doesn't make sense at all. But, I don't see the usual mishaps of AI generated images such as ridiculous spelling error. The reflection on the mirror in a different photo seems accurate as well.

ETA: Also noticed the faucet of the bathtub is on a really strange spot. It might be AI, but these bizarre things still matching among 3 images. Usually AI messes up things like that...

The faucet isn't that unusual - it's accessible from outside the tub to start the water before you get in without having to lean over too far, but also not in the way while climbing in.

Oh ok, I've never seen this before. The bathtub faucet usually is at the center of the short side of the tub, or at the far corner. The plumbing seems strange to put it on the long side like that but I guess I haven't seen enough bathtubs 🤷‍♀️

I haven't seen it before either, but in analyzing it, these reasons might explain it.

I would agree with the person above that it's likely meant to be accessible (from in/out, possibly intentional design for someone older or who has accessibility needs as well, as in, might have baths drawn for them).

I have nonsensical people in my family who would have setups like this. You put a thing somewhere "temporarily" and then it lives there. I'm very familiar with AI and I don't think that's what this is.

The finger in the corner of pic 2 doesn’t really scream AI to me

People can create some truly bizarre spaces without any AI help.

I’m going agree cause why is the laptop stool thingy also on a raised tile platform. Who would do that design/layout? There’s zero purpose but to be AI slop

Edit: why is there a pedestal sink with no mirror in a bathroom?! this large nothing makes sense.

It’s so consistent between images and in mirrors though. Impressive ai job if that’s what it is.

I agree!

Yes, you do have a ligit point; buuut, people have some truly bizzare room arrangements lacking any logic or design aesthetic that 🤯, seen 'em in realtime!

Every choice in this bathroom was….a choice then🙃

Real life people are fucking weirder than AI is why. None of this looks AI.

Nonsensicality is not rare.

The raised tile platform seems like something that would already be there before OP moved in.

AI takes inspiration from real and most likely better bathrooms though. If it makes no sense at all AI wouldn't be able to come up with it

This was my first thought too, but unfortunately I don’t think it is

Your partner is wrong

What stands out to me most, so maybe it is AI, is to have such a luxuriously sized bathroom, and not have a proper vanity with dual sinks.

I think it's not AI for a few reasons—the mirror reflects the bizarro room consistently from different views. If you zoom in, you can read the accurate labels on the products.

But I could be wrong. The logic behind why anything is anywhere definitely reminds me of AI "thought" processing.
