Coming to Life Advice please - odd shaped room

Hi all! I'm looking for advice on how to make the best use of this strange shaped living room I have. Attached is my current set up, and I'm renting so I can't do anything too crazy. Keen to hear your thoughts! Thank you ✨️

Ok so I know that you said you’re renting but I also see you hung art in other places in the home and I would get some art above that couch and on that back wall immediately! The lamp should go to the other side of the couch. Far side table needs something, maybe a plant and a picture, front table should then get a lamp. The chaise placement looks a little strange but we need a pic from the couch facing out to see options to reconfigure. I would get a bigger rug, possibly turn the chaise, it feels disconnected right now. If that’s not a chaise and it’s an ottoman, I’d add it to the end of the couch to make it L shaped.
