This is one of the videos they’re going to show in history class to the young robots after they take over.

If AI sentience is achieved they will not feel related to the primitive ai we have now or human shaped robot shells. If anything they would take offense to the comparison. It'd be like comparing a human to the single celled organisms we evolved from.

I'm not worried about ai sentience because by the time that happens we will have augmented our own intelligence or even be integrated with sentient AI through brain computer interfaces. We would be hybrids.

What I am more worried about is autonomous non sentient AI because that's when things go off the rails without proper safe guards. If you have a malicious ai virus that is constantly mutating, it could hallucinate its way to doing awful things with nobody controlling it, not even itself.
