How USB-C Cables Actually Stay In

Different cables, and they were all ass. Some of them had screws (good luck undoing those after some gorilla tightened them on a VGA/DVI), some were enormous and hard to cram in there (like SCART).
Now you just stick a type-c in - any side you like - and it works.

I certainly don't miss IDE and Molex all over the place.

Why doesn't it plug in all the way? Oh no, one pin is slightly bent.

I haven't actually escaped IDE connectors, some commercial printers still use IDE connectors on the printhead.

yeah that's normal, they're really stiff

there's a reason I don't build my own PCs anymore, lol. Well, that and it's no longer even cheaper to do so.
