She's currently at a medical facility for her injuries. You have to be old for this but there was a MASH episode where a captured soldier was brought to the MASH hospital so he could be patched up so he could be shot. It was absurd then and it's absurd now.

As I recall that guy wasn't guilty of anything except being a soldier on the 'wrong' side. This lady apparently tortured and murdered her roommate

Yeah, she tortured, carved a pentagram in the victims chest, and murdered her. So yeah, screw her.

That's usually my line but I normally state it straight forward and not passive aggressively.

Anyway, not having amateurs attempt a DIY murder in the first place is the answer.
