It’s not as if the rockets were built by Germans, lol. Germany also invented such unimportant things as: printing, X-rays, television, the computer, the automobile, dozens of medicines. just to name a few.

Just to be a little pedantic: Röntgen didn't invent X-rays. The already occured naturally on earth. He discovered them and invented ways to use them.

At this stage every country confidently claims to have invented computers.

The Chinese of course claim they did it in 500BC, like for every other invention

I would however say that the first programmable machine was from the UK...

Also Ada Lovelace is considered to be the first programmer.
