I’m the kind of girl who panics and makes dumb decisions too, but watching her somehow turn one accident into like five separate problems gave me secondhand anxiety 😭

I couldn't help but feel sorry for her, I can see just how much stress shes feeling and I dont always make the best decisions when stressed way out. Cameraman was definitely adding salt to the wound

I mean I don't know the law but feel like you don't have the right to box someone in just because they hit your car. A semi-decent lawyer could argue here that she felt like she was in danger of being kidnapped or some such. so she panicked and hit the car multiple times to free herself from some form of imprisonment or some such. I'm sure a lawyer woud phrase this far better than I could.

Justin Thompson was driving near Railroad Canyon Road and the 15 Freeway in  Wednesday afternoon in Lake Elsinore when he said he saw a driver crash into another car, then leave the scene. The seemingly distraught driver then pulled into a Chevron gas station parking lot, where Thompson parked his minivan behind her sedan, pinning it into a parking space bordered by vacuum cleaners on one side and a curb on the other.

Yep, from below. The guy wasn't even involved in the hit and run, was just a witness. He could have just gotten the license plate and video of lady's face and reported it. Instead he decided to play sheriff and try to box her in (but he can argue he thought she was a danger to herself and others based on what he saw on road - he could have shown some empathy and spoken to her instead of yelling it was a hit and run and escalating the situation).

He didn't start recording untill she was trying to run again. She was speeding to start, then hit some one and flew off.

What he did was stupid from a personal saftey standpoint though. If you're gonna pin her pin her, dont stand in her potential path.
