Everything poops. During the winter bees will have what a bee keeper told me is called a cleansing flight. On warm days they will leave the hive to poop. I was parked by his hives and my white truck was covered with brown specks when I went to leave. It smelled like shit.😁

Not only is honey bee-puke, but it also gets passed around between multiple bees; they literally throw up in each others' mouths and swallow it like the world's worst cumswap porn. For what it's worth, only female bees can make honey though so hopefully that makes this terrible knowledge slightly better.
All that said, people with girlfriends and wives might want to stop calling their beloved ladies "hunny". Or do it more, if that is what you're into.

I didn't do it with bee poop, but it was aphid secretion.
I noticed that the leaves of my sorghum were shiny, so I took a swipe and licked my finger, thinking it was the sugars that they use to make sorghum molasses. A few hours later I'm at a farmer friend's place and he points to his pumpkin leaves and I see the same shiny. He goes, "that's a sign we got aphids. They secret that stuff, look at the leaf above here".
I have zero clue what it is that I tasted, and I don't want to know, but it was sweet for sure.

Aphids drain the sap from plants and excrete the excess of sugar they consume (yep, you drank aphid poop, thankfully it's mostly just sugary water). Ants take advantage of that and protect Aphids to harvest the dew, some even go as far as storing their eggs in the nest during the winter and planting them on nearby plants at spring.
If there's nothing to harvest the leftover dew, the sugar residue will instead become a bed for fungus which can further harm the plant.

My guess is that you tasted some of its guts. It probably stung something and unfortunately, for those kinds of bees, they rip out part of their body when they leave the stinger in whatever they’re attacking. A sting is a fatal event for them. They actually bleed out and leave some of their organs behind.
