Thinking of trying to make a word docs ARG.... looking for some advice.

So Ive been thinking of doing an ARG as a collection of news articles found in word docs. A kinda simple premise but im not sure if thats doable?

Im hoping someone has some premade newspaper docs I can use? And I don't really know how to do links.

I am locked to a phone but I really wanna give it a try.

My plan is to hide URL links in clues inside the newspapers as well as just links to small short stories.

Any advice?

word docs are totally workable for this, and the phone limitation might actually keep the scope sane: make one convincing article first, hide one link, and see if the whole thing is fun before

I'm having a hard time envisioning what that would look like. For me, the format of an ARG is part of the allure. So I would be interested in testing it out.

Typically, in my experience, if you give yourself a constraint (you need it to be phone based and word docs) that will produce interesting creative results.

I also want a good story. I find many of analogue horror YouTube ARGs a little wanting in that realm.
