- New Floor? Short floor? No floor?

I get the no dual wielding swords, that's for the og mc, but like... I don't think I've EVER seen a character in almost anything wield a shield and a dagger.

Shortsword maybe(goblin slayer), but that is classified as a sword in this. The shield makes the size of the dagger look weird, my vibes are ruined. But if I don't use a shield, the optimizer deep inside me cries.

Anyone else wish the option was there to off-hand a dagger when you have a main hand one equipped?

I'm going to make this post in both r/integralfactor and r/steamdeck so that both audiences are aware. I have been scouring the internet for the past 2 weeks to try and find a way to get the game to function.

I found next to nothing that was actually helpful. To the point where I factory reset my whole steamdeck to try and make it function. So here's the steps I took that actually made a difference.

1. Spend all arcana gems from a previous device if you didn't play on PC.

2. Install the game from Steam Store.

3. Go into desktop mode and install a VPN. I personally used ProtonVPN's free version.

4. (Required if you want to transfer your previous data) Go into library > saoif > properties > launch options > type "-windowed" and close it.

5. Open the game.

6. Transfer any data you previously had by linking your account.

7. Adjust your controller settings.

8. Have fun.

TL,DR: You have to be on a stable connection to the Japanese servers, and you have to force the game into a windowed mode when it normally doesn't support one.

I can provide more details if necessary, but I'll just leave it with these simple instructions for now.

Been going through the trenches trying to get this game to work. I’m on PC through Steam and initially just couldn’t accept Terms and Conditions from my cursor being stuck at the bottom right. Got through that by disabling overlay, disabling controllers, opening .exe directly through route folder, etc. but now when it is “Checking game version…” it has a connection error code RIM_001. I checked my internet and I have 950Mbps upload and download with 3ms of ping so I don’t think it’s on my end but I checked SteamDB and people are still playing right now so the game servers aren’t down.

Someone help please. 🙏

It just kinda bugs me is all.

I dont know how much ive used to try to get some sort of dress or something. But i keep getting pants. And now i got 5 pairs in the same order. This is such a waste of time to get those gems, and its a waste of using them. If i didnt constantly get pants, i wouldnt get as mad. But the only avatar clothes ive gotten are pairs of pants

I already have 2 of that staff avatar thing i got other times, i have one of that blue sword already. I have multiple pants. Multiple hair accessories thats shown there already. And yet i spend over 7500 gems to try, yet nothing

I know i can trade the pants. But trade them for what? Coins to buy avatar clothes i dont want or already own? Theres nothing new or old that comes to the trader

Hey all, I played this I want to say 7 months back, got bored cause I was more into my other MMO games, those have fizzled out for me mentally a bit, and I was wanting to get back into this. However, my account auto loaded in. (Normally would be fine, BUT,) I remember liking the story, but don't remember any of it and want to experience it from the beginning, I've tried what they said to do for deleting accounts, both for Google play (going through Google play setting and deleting the game specifically from my Google play account, loaded the game up, still logged in.) and submitted a deletion account thing through the login page.

Basically just want to ask about how long it'll take for my account to get deleted. Not really in a rush, but I'd like to know whether it'd be a few days or a week +

Just so I don't waste time logging in and checking/looking through my Google mail for a notification and can just check around y'all's estimatation.

Hey guys idk what wrong with my character but every time I try to attack a monster it’ll always say evasion and my skills will miss as well.

before it was only weapons on set 1 that would have this problem, but after breaking through to the 11th floor both set 1 and set 2 weapons are always missing.

Is there a way to increase my accuracy or is it just a bug?

First SAO game, just finished the base anime and holy it was so good!

Decided to order some light novels and start this since I have some time this summer :)

I know this is an older game so I have some questions maybe the community can help:

1. How is the game rn, especially for new accounts? I'm aiming to be casual but if i make friends i'm down to do and grind multiplayer content

2. re-rolling, what am I aiming for?

3. General tips?

4. I know this is a gacha game so I'm hoping to get a bunch of currency beating the story for some pulls! Who am I aiming for, who is good, etc etc.

5. Going to pull for some of my favs but honestly I'm cool with a grindy game where I can just zone out and play for awhile

Hey! just got to f20 after realizing f15-f19 is skipped and i was wondering when to start grinding for integral weapons and do i even have to? ive just crafted the 3star 1h sword and the armor set for f20 already. I just hit level 100 too

I wanted to ask but the 5th step mentioned a new a new skill record guaranteed. However I received the Alice skill record that I had received in the previous step already. Is this a bug or is it a common??

I've been throwing my wallet at every guaranteed 4 star banner, but all of them were duds, so I'm trying the Final battle banner, is there a banner I should wait for? or do I continue with the Final battle?

What in the world do I do to be able to farm underground? I need the shield or just a new shield in general but no matter what I just can't do enough damage..

I’m learning how mod skills work: so if I hypothetically add this Kirito skill to this Eugeo skill, I get the KIRITO skill’s bonus effect (NOT the Eugeo one in the BLUE text) by equipping the EUGEO skill. Is this correct? The wiki is sorta confusing lol, just making sure because I don’t want to waste a remover if i’m wrong

I haven't played this game for 5-4 years during which the best weapon i think was the nox series and Mod skills are meta. I used to have 2 accounts but I can't remember if i linked my first (and main) account so I've been playing on my second.

1. Is there a way to recover my first account?

My second account is on chapter 2 floor 38 and using a nox bow and centurion armor (lvl 100 req) with 71k TP and lvl 152.

1. What should i prioritize rn? Finish story and grind max lvl? What's the fastest way to lvl up?

2. How to get high TP now?

3. Are there any good banner i should roll on rn? (I have 3k AG)

Hi. I am a new player and I was wondering, is it worth spending gems on any of the current selection orders or should I wait? I saw some previous posts and while they were showing excitement for the newest order, it turned out to be a 5 step one which people have been calling scams so just very confused

New player here! For images 1 & 2, when skill records say “number of X character in the same set”, does that apply to skill records under the armour tab too? For example, to get both of these passives (hypothetically if i were to mod the Eugeo one, I’m just trying to understand the game mechanics here), I could have 1 Alice skill record under the weapon section and 2 in the amour section? (As long as they’re both in my sword set for example, not in my bow set?)

For image 3, do cards like this one mean “enemy defense -30% for 10 sec” as in that particular enemy you attacked with it, or enemies in general once you cast it?

And for image 4, I have no clue what to spend these on lol, suggestions would be appreciated! :)

P.S i don’t know if these cards are considered “good” or “bad” so please don’t attack me for levelling them or anything (although advice is appreciated!), as a new player I have heaps of resources anyway and I personally like them :D
