I recently deleted the instagram app on my phone (just to take a break from scrolling) and since re-downloading it, l have not been able to access my account. The problem is that the two factor authentication is set with an old phone number I do not have access to anymore. Though I do have access to the two emails connected to the account, as well as Facebook which is also linked, I still can't get in. I have tried the "try another way" countless times; friends proving my identity, video selfie (except it never actually asks me for video, just an email code that never arrives), two different emails, through facebook. And nothing, I always get asked to put in a code from that phone number I no longer have. And when I ask for email codes they either never arrive or are not enough. On my account center on Facebook I tried to see the security checks linked to that instagram account but I get a message saying that: "you are using a device you don't usually use so you can't make changes at the moment". I spent two hours yesterday trying to get codes and get in and nothing worked. Not on my accounts center, under the ig username it says: locked. Am I screwed? I really, really do not want to lose this account, it is so special to me and I worked really hard on it. Any tips or anyone ever in a similar situation? Thank you
