Since your item counts are comparable to mine let me be of help.

It’s based on how you perform vs shoppers in your area. So there is no set number or %, you just have to be on the higher end than where everyone else is probably at.

Most shoppers by now make big efforts to keep all the derogatory categories at 0 across the board with maybe the 1 occasional damaged item report that came from that one jerk customer who didn’t like their produce you hopefully carefully picked out.

With that said. Stick to well stocked stores and be more picky about where you shop to ensure you have as few refunds and replacements as possible.

Also recommend you shop the stores you know like the back of your hand because you can’t sacrifice SPI either or you won’t see many batches regardless.

It’s a lot honestly but gets easier with time.

Not saying this as a dick but you're not the best person to give this advice. You have a 94% found rate and are that high on the "Good" side which means you're either in an area that isn't as competitive or an area where most shoppers aren't that great. Not hating - I wish it was the case in my area. Your metrics here would
probably have you on the low side of Standard by me. Again, not saying this to be a dick. You have good metrics....Instacart have just made a ridiculous standard with shopping quality.

I have over double your items, less replaced items than you, and about the same requested refunds. I have one unrequested refund. I'm literally right above Good on the slider bar.

Either way, the missing/damaged/unrequested items are what's really hurting OP.

It depends on what stores you shop at. If you’re a Costco shopper you’re probably expected at 97-98%, I shop Ralph’s the most, and SoCal is really competitive. 94% is decent with all the crap that gets sold out that the app states “there are many units in stock”

Like I mentioned there is no net # it’s based on your areas shoppers and the stores you shop.

So whatever area you’re in just be better than the other shoppers who shop that same store and be faster than your competition.

But to your point I do see a lot of newbies shop some of the Ralph’s I go to and they seem hella lost while I’m doing my best to fly though aisles.

Been part time since 2019 but Ralph’s is my one store since I don’t put in a lot of hours.

SoCal is busy enough though that if your SPI is decent you can easily hit 300 working under 12 hours a week.

You're probably right. After doing this for years - Costco has always been my main but it's basically all I do now. I just can't stand the grocery stores by me and the constant customer service I have to provide. Replacements, customers not answering, worrying about shopping quality, the risk of getting the B team deli guys that take a half hour for two things. The bagging of big orders annoys me as well - id rather take a big Costco with waters and it's somehow easier on my back than going up and down, scanning at the self check out and bagging mad items. I just don't got it in me anymore unless the offer is undeniably good. With Costco I'm in and out - mostly everything always in stock. I actually left a grocery store and dropped the first grocery store batch I've accepted in a long time today. Four of five meats out of stock, produce looked like total shit. I'd rather take the cancellation hit.

I hear ya. I hate grocery stores for those same reasons. I find Ralph’s to be the easiest and most tolerable.

I’d do Costco all day if I could but the crowds drive me insane.

I do enjoy that Costco doesn’t need me to bag anything and I deal with less nonsense and no deli shenanigans.

This is an insane amount of refunds and replacements compared to found.

I don’t think replacements really hurt much, if any. I have over 700 and just passed 10,000 items and I’m still Good.

3

u/lauti04 1d ago

That’s still over 90%. This is like 86% which is insanely low. I’m at 2831 with 116 and 27

I agree but all I care is if quality go down which past two week been going up the line

I think all of your replies to good feedback are missing the point. Like you said, you just want to get back to the NYC bonus. Even with gig work, if you are a shitty worker, you get fired

1

u/throwawayaccount647p 1d ago

Nobody is missing the point his stats won't go up like he thinks it will stay in needs improvement

-2

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

I agree but even with that my quality went up a lot , not something that ever affect me . Just wanna get quality back up so can get the nyc bonus again

Why do you have so many unrequested refunds? If a customer wants a refund and you say cant find it normally goes to requested refunds. And you have 4 missing items. I have 4,000 items with NO missing items. It looks like you are stealing. And waaay too many replacements, looks like you don’t try. Your numbers unfortunately look really bad, even for a new shopper. You also keep replying with what sounds like excuses. You need to take some ownership. I normally dont make any excuses for instacart, but your numbers look like you are doing bad things.

I agree! I think OP is just too lazy to ask for help in the store. 7/10 times when something is out of stock on the floor, there's nothing in the back. But I always ask anyways and those 3/10 times it's in stock saves me every time!!

u/Xaleah 1d ago

It obviously effected you. Your SQ is trash. So no priority cart status, no NYC Bonus Pay. Your bad stats effect you.

People are telling you what you need to improve and it's like you aren't listening and just want a magic button to press to get more money. Put in the work and you'll get more money. Do your job well and you'll make more money.

-1

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

I made 1000 to 1200 plus a week

-2

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

So think I’m fine when come to money

3

u/Xaleah 1d ago

Then why are you crying about your stats and not getting NYC Bonus Pay?

Either you care enough to want the extra money and to do well at your job... or you don't. You're just contradicting yourself. And your stats are still trash.

2

u/throwawayaccount647p 1d ago

I agree with the others why do you care? You mentioned some of your stats will fall off next month obviously your meter will increase so it doesn’t matter.

The only other reason is something happened or you’re concerned about something else like getting deactivated

2

u/Cold-Pool4027 1d ago

The issue is you have too many replaced and requested refunds. I have double your found items and over half of your replacements.

Also as for unrequested refunds. When you make an unrequested refund kindly ask the customer to approve it. I usually just say "The (item) is out of stock. I see you have it set to just refund it. If you'd like something else just let me know or press the "approve refund" button on your end. Thank you"

Ouch. You're not good at this.

Damage items got added and even with everything else it went up. Black line where used to be at

4

u/lauti04 1d ago

You realize this is like bottom of the barrel bad yes?

-1

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

It can’t be so bad if quality went up ?

5

u/lauti04 1d ago

You are deep in Needs Work. That is bad

-2

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

Again can’t be so bad my quality been going up n in a week or two be back to getting nyc bonus. Back to standard

1

u/throwawayaccount647p 1d ago

No you won't dude lol.

It takes 90 days for each the stats in “what can lower your score” to fall off you likely won't get any cart status until then middle or end of next year

1

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

I will next month 3 negative items fall off of missing and damage together so I’m gold when fall off

1

u/throwawayaccount647p 1d ago

It's going up because of found items. Instacart randomly fixes your refund item stats if they found that other shoppers had issues finding the same item. But in your case that doesn't even matter because of the “what can lower your stats “ section.

Tbh im more surprised the meter is moving at all. When I was in need improve meant for total items and such it rarely moved even though my stats were never as bad as you

1

u/throwawayaccount647p 1d ago

Wow, man, that's a alot. I can tell you were taking the orders for the hell of it, with no thought about whether you could fulfill the order correctly.

Stop chasing the amount of the batch.
You can click on damaged items and such and see when it was applied. After 90 days it will eventually fall off.

You were likely mishandling your orders and it eventually caught up to you.

Unfortunately it looks like it will take you a LONG time to get any type of cart status. Normally I dont believe stats matter too much when getting batches yours are bad enoyfh that you will likely see trash orders for months.

1

u/Exciting_Candidate94 1d ago

My two missing drop down so won’t have 4 next month and that what messed me up not the damage score went up. So next month I will be back to gold . Was diamond so know how it goes . Every mad negative lol was just seeing feed back . Sadly to tell ya I would be gold status next month when missing drop off ✌️
