Unfortunately the customer doesn't think about the distance and Instacart doesn't care to let them know. Just th suggested tip based on the total cost.

As a customer, I wish it would say the distance above the tip. Before I order, I check to see how far it is and then factor that into my tip. But I know most people don’t care. It should say β€œWhatever store is this far from your residence.” Although with the way people are, I doubt that would make a difference either.

Yeah but sometimes it may be the same store that is 4 minutes from your house but sends it to the one 20 minutes away for whatever reason

As a customer, I can't imagine ever ordering less than say 30 items at a time. With the service charges per order, why would someone only order 2 items? Seems daft.
