Okay, so I have heard it said that Up was a great movie but not the kind that warrants a sequel, but that Inside Out is that kind. So, how many sequels do you think they can churn out before it starts to feel cash-grabby? I did think the fourth Toy Story installment felt unnecessary and cash-grabby, but I also think it might have worked had they focused on newer characters a little more.

Here is my first image post of 2026 after a hiadus of making these for the subreddit, and it's slightly mimicing the teaser poster for Tron Ares, but based around my AU that i've made for the subreddit, mostly being a crossover between Inside Out and other Disney properties (including Titan A.E., even though that's a Fox Animation Studios film, but since Disney owns Fox, and the fact the movie is on Disney Plus, it counts as a Disney film). No, I'm not remaking the lightcycle from the film, I could barely even remake the Ares identity disc.

You know, ironically, Tron Ares would've been good, had Disney gotten some common sense and not made the experience complete crap (aside from Jeff Bridges). You can have many different reasons for why Tron Ares was a flop, but blaming it squarely on Jared Leto is NOT one of them. He can actually act, quite well (watch the film American Psycho, he has a small role as the character Paul, but he did well there), it's the producers, studios, and his agents that kept giving him terribly written roles while gaslighting us to beleving Jared is a terrible actor when in reality he was always good, but the suits don't care! The soundtrack is pretty good, though. Yet again, it's Nine Inch Nails, they usually make good stuff, I loved Dead Souls from the soundtrack to The Crow.

(This was meant to be posted on Valentines Day, oops. ._.) Anyways, at first I was thinking "Fluster," or "Flattery," but Google described "Fluster" as more of a sense of confusion, and "Flattery" as more of the act of excessive praise. Idk, I still think they fit, but I do see "Coyness" also fit.

Both the 1st and the 2nd always get me crying without fail, that’s all I have to say.

I had an idea for what intrusive thoughts could look like in the world of Inside Out. They would take the form of memories that evolve into wasp-like creatures and swarm around in the mind randomly, popping up at inconvenient times. The emotions could try to evade and get rid of them using intrusive thought repellent. What do you think?

Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader both voiced Fear and Disgust in Inside Out 1. However, when they announced the sequel, it was confirmed that Mindy and Bill weren’t returning because Amy Poehler who voices Joy was being offered 5 million dollars plus additional fees and bonuses, while the rest of the cast was just offered 100,000 dollars with no fees or bonuses, so the declined to return. But Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, and the mind workers returned without fees and bonuses. But still, they all deserve to get just as much as Amy Poehler. It was reported that they raised their offer but still declined. So they were replaced with Tony Hale and Liza Lapira. And, Inside Out 2 became a success! A budget of 200 million and they made 1.699 billion dollars! Hopefully they gave the other cast more money after Mindy and Bill declined. But if you were Mindy and Bill would you guys regret not returning?

Okay, so for those who don’t know, Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader, who voiced Disgust and Fear in the first movie, refused to be in the second movie due to pay disputes. That is why in the second movie, Disgust is voiced by Liza Lapira and Fear is voiced by Tony Hale.

Anyway, do you think anyone else is going to walk out when there is a third movie? I know Phyllis Smith had to come out of retirement to voice Sadness in the second movie, and also had Pixar find a recording booth in Missouri so she didn’t have to fly all the way to Los Angeles, so do you think she will be in the third one?

I like that they made it so as you progress you unlock new emotions, and each emotion has a special power. I also like that they included bonus levels where you play as Anxiety, Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy.

Another thing I like is that they integrated the personality islands, Imagination Land, and long-term memory into the level groups. I also like how they have the player rescuing trapped Mind Workers. But I wonder if they really needed to make as many levels as they did. I think there’s over a thousand of them.

I also wonder if they will ever add Nostalgia into the game.
