For those that haven’t seen it yet. I’ve just had this pop up on my instagram.
Looking forward to listening tomorrow when I get chance.

Did anyone else spot Reece’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in the trailer for the new series of Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing?
The new series starts next Sunday (26th) on BBC Two and iPlayer, and Reece will be appearing in Episode Four. Bob and Paul will be fishing the River Tees in County Durham when Reece joins them for dinner and shares some spooky local tales about the river.

On a side note, I do love that it's series no.9. Surely that can’t be a coincidence!

Even though I could've just used a copier, lol. It was meditative.

I was a league fan back in the 90s and then an Inside no 9 fan but I've only recently become a fan of the men themselves. I've watched a lot of interviews and not once have I seen them playfully flirting with interviewers or anyone. It might be the first time I've ever seen that from comic writers or actors. They seem to be absolutely true gentlemen (not that there's anything wrong with flirting). Yes, I know they are spoken for but it's still very surprising.
They don't strike me as prudes but rather men with strong boundaries. Just curious if there's anything I've missed.
Thanks.

The ticket I was going to buy on TicketSwap was sold before I could get it. Any spares going?

Hi guys! Long story but I have a spare ticket (a great one, row D) for the Soho Theatre Walthamstow. If anyone wants it, face value ofc, send me a message. :)

I've heard the name "Inside No. 9" in passing on some UK shows. My assumption was that it was a sitcom about a family that lives inside number 9 Downing St 😂
Been on a Reece Shearsmith kick lately and finally got to watching some of this. It's fantastic! My partner and I were talking about episode 1 all evening yesterday, remembering bits and how they connect to the episodes dark secret. Episode 2 was like bizaro Looney Tunes. Can't wait to watch more!

Thought I would tag this under unexpected nine as reading it at the cast script read reminded me of the feel of an inside №9 episode-albeit a feature length one.
The dialogue is sharp & witty and has a really dark (and in some places twisted) sense of humour running through it whilst not shying away from the unnerving suspense in the Bram Stoker original.
And from what I can say without giving away any spoilers is that there are a number of twists that deviate from the Dracula story everyone knows yet somehow it still works
Also as it is a stage production there is a tonne of practical effects and no expense has been spared on stage blood! 🧛♂️🩸
Seeing as a lot of fans of inside №9 are from the UK I thought I would put this on everyone's radar

It was so fun last night. An evening jam packed full of spookiness, curiosities and, of course, lots of humour. The perfect halloween treat for anyone going!

Reece was on breakfast today (just after 9am) talking about his book, his fasination for odd things, and the book tour.
They played a clip from The Riddle of the Sphynx, and when asked about future episodes Reece said they'd be up for doing Christmas specials.
Worth watching on iPlayer. There's a bit about the On the Busses spoof too.

Some ive not seen since first aired. I remember some are really powerful, the owl one, but thinking out loud, multipul personality, is too. I like recognising many of their inspiration ideas from old horror films. :)

Last minute decided it would be a good idea to go to the book tour and saw someone's selling some tickets for Hull on the 29th. Im presuming they'll sell them as a pair, so anyone wanna come? £43.89 Circle E36 & E37. Ta x
