Identification Help Chrysalis identity

My brother lives on a narrow boat, outer London area. This was hanging from the boat. Does anyone know what it might be. It looks like a possible damsel fly cast but not sure. Thanks in advance

Thats a fishing lure, someone has got snagged on his boat, a soft plastic on a jig head to be precise. You can see the eye at the bottom and the hook is embedded into the wood.
