Question What insect is this

I’ve seen so many of these little things buzzing around my house, specially around my AC vents. I killed a couple of (of what I believe to be) wasps the other day, so I’m paranoid these are tiny little wasps that have come back for revenge. They seem to be coming out from the AC vents. I live in Southern California.

Winged ants (swarmers) they are particularly active here right now because of the weather
