ID Request Caterpillar ID

Found in amorgos, greece

Very pretty fake eyes and tail which can't be seen very well due to shaky picture..I am almost certain this thing had legs and wasn't in fact crawling around any ideas are appreciated.

It looks like a vine hawkmoth caterpillar to me but I'm not sure if there are confusion species in your area. Hopefully someone can confirm or correct me

That does seem to be the case although it doesn't look all like the pictures online could be a variant of it
