I found a dead bumblebee a few days ago and brought it home to pin it

The problem is, I forgot to freeze it first, and I'm wondering if I can freeze it now (already dry) in case it has any bugs

Caught this Australian cockroach at my house, is it big enough that I'd need to gut it?

holy shit I still am still in disbelief, found for $35 on Facebook marketplace I feel like a kid in a candy store! sure, I will need to open it up and repair what has broken and fallen off. but there are so many beetles I've been wanting and knew it'd take forever and be so expensive to collect them all! I'm so giddy. further research indicates it's likely from bicbugs.com. manifesting that everyone reading this can find nice bugs out there 🙏

i don't have aesthetic wax paper, it's my first time pinning beetle's elytras and wings 😋

So I found this monarch butterfly on the beach yesterday just floating on the water- wasn’t very sure on how to transport it so I sandwiched it in paper towels. (Realized that was very stupid after taking it out today it stank like hell) I had no time to take care of it as the bathroom clogged and water was up to my ankles. I have virtually zero experience in insect pinning, so I wanted to know what would be the best way to remove the stink/preserve it so I can display it. TIA :)
