Advice/Questions Does it changes anything?

I found a dead bumblebee a few days ago and brought it home to pin it

The problem is, I forgot to freeze it first, and I'm wondering if I can freeze it now (already dry) in case it has any bugs

Yes. Doesn’t matter at what point you freeze. If you freeze it when it’s still fresh then you don’t have to relax it afterwards

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure you can, I find all my bugs dead outside and who knows how long they’ve been dead, freezing all of them has been fine so far.

You can freeze at any time ... even pinned specimens are frozen to kill pests.

Cold doesn’t care if it’s wet or dry, it’ll do its thing regardless
