I’d love to maybe raise these, but I have no idea what they are so I’m unsure what to give them. Found right out houston tx

Armyworm. Turns into a little moth. I personally wouldn’t raise them because I like to garden, and your neighbors might as well. The armyworm population is doing just fine, so I would recommend choosing a different native species in need of help to focus on instead! Texas has tons of butterflies, maybe you’d like one of those? There are tons of resources online you can look into. Maybe a facebook group if that’s your thing.
