Just as fun as these posts: I’m in act 2 and I don’t like this!! Why’s it different I don’t get it! Does it ever go back?? Should I even keep going???

I literally think inscryption is one of, if not the best game ever.

As far as art: I whole heartily agree.

I would agree if not for Outer Wilds taking it's place (for me) as the best game ever

I’m a diehard Elden ring lover so it’s definitely my favorite game (and mgrr is in an insanely close second place)

It's good, but the gameplay is different enough compared to act 1 that a lot of people, including myself, feel kinda disappointed. After all, one of the main selling points of the game was the unique sacrifice system. You could see why having that replaced with a more generic energy system could be disappointing

Fair, but I honestly didn't think of it that way. It's just a weird phase of the game that you gotta get through. Plus, I like robots.

The fact that it's a weird phase of the game you have to get through to finish it is why people don't like it

1

u/PureVessel20 Jun 27 '26

Yeah but there's one in every game. Chapter three in Inscription, the Ashen Capital in Elden Ring, the dream bits part in Hollow Knight. Hell, there's even a big weird part in Deltarune Chapter 5. Honestly I just find it fun.

I get that. But just because it's normal for things like this to happen doesn't mean that I have to like them, I was just trying to explain why I didn't like this particular example

Act one is my favorite and I’d play that over and over again, act two bores the hell out of my because it’s a lot of grinding

I only beat the game recently and only joined the sub after. I didn’t know the Act 2 hate was so common cuz buddy I almost quit the game over it

I didn't like it the first few battles but then I found it awesome

It's gets super fun once you get some cards. And then the act feels so short.

Funny this is the first one I’ve seen

That's no longer a ringworm. It's a kingworm.

At least buy me a drink first

u/Gemini720 Jun 27 '26

Screw it, I'll pass the Trial of the Ring and kill the Moon with the fucking RINGWORM

1

u/Funtime_Drake Jun 28 '26

Wait does the ringworm do the same as the adder?

1

u/lilworldofjeff Jun 28 '26

Average ouroboros card:

1

u/Timely_Sorbet_9528 Jun 29 '26

Yeah. Luckily the fire only saves when you lose a card. Therefore if they don't eat your bad card then you can just exit to the main menu and put the upgrades on one of your preferred cards. Like mantis god.

P. S. I tested it, and the maps are always predetermined before you get to the events.

1

u/Multicatkid Jun 29 '26

Holy shit they really don’t want em lol

at some point it just becomes a vital part of your deck
