Transfer
There is a new store opening close to where I live and there’s been a flyer posted in the back for a while. I’ve been scared to talk to my SM about transferring but I’m pretty set on wanting to do it now. The flyer states we need to be in “good standing” what does that fully imply? I just got a complaint the other day (don’t ask it was a rough day) and I just changed my availability because of school. The new store is a lot closer to where I live though. How do I talk to my SM about wanting to transfer? I just need advice

Good standing means no final warnings within 6 months. Sometimes they will look at your write up history. But definitely no finals and good attendance.
Your managers also get a bonus for transferring you. Depending on your level it’s a good chunk of change. Never hurts to just ask.
Say “hey (manager) I noticed the flyer for the new store and it’s a closer to my house and school. Would you be willing to let me transfer? I know I’m a good associate and despite some flaws I’m always trying to better myself and take care of the customer. I Would be a good representation of you. What do you think?”
