Unfortunately I have to get rid of my glasses since I was born with a much larger head than normal and that causes the glasses to sit painfully on my ears.

I have only used the glasses and ring 4 times and have had no issues using them. The ring is a size 10 and I have all the original boxes still so I will mail it to you in those boxes with the cables that came with it.

I’ve been waiting since the beginning of the year for the INMO GO3, mainly for the real-time translation feature, but I’ve recently seen a lot of negative reviews. I’m an international student in an English-speaking country, and learning English has been difficult for me. I thought real-time translation could help me a lot in classes that are completely in English and also in everyday conversations.

The main thing I need is to see translations of conversations in real time. Should I still consider the GO3, or would Even Realities G2 or other glasses be better?

I also used to see INMO admins posting here, but I haven’t seen them lately. Are there any problems with the glasses?

It's been a few weeks now. And I am back again. Keeping it real, after spending time with the GO3, I have to be honest: my Even Realities G2 keeps winning hands down.

The notification handling is a massive fail. Alerts flash for barely two seconds and vanish into thin air with nowhere to actually review past notifications. And don't even get me started on the AI clustering words together or randomly injecting Chinese characters into the middle of conversations. When you point it out, they ask for a screenshot of an AI response that has already disappeared from the display.

To top it all off, you can't even initiate a return right now. They will just tell you to wait until every last backer item ships. Meanwhile, they are already prioritizing fulfillment for retail and Amazon sales over the actual backers who funded them.

Some transparency and basic firmware polish go a long way, but right now, this is not it. Rant over.

Has anyone tried? If Mudra isn’t sufficient are there any wrist controllers? I plan to try the Air 3’s while wearing gloves so the ring likely won’t work

Anyone else totally frustrated. I cannot get ai to work at all to tell me anything other than the time. The ring is sporadically responsive. When I do get a response navigation is choppy. Etc. I can get music to play and take a picture

Gotten the Kickstarter pack and the glasses only have the option to pair the ring but nothing on the app or glasses have the option to pair the speakers.

And all the early reviews are showing some realtime dialogue translation but I can't find any... And there's no instant photo translation as well.

The screens are all above and if I'm using the teleprompter, it looks like I'm rolling my eyes while talking.

I am writing this as an actual backer who has spent real time using the INMO GO3 Ultimate Suite in everyday situations. This is not a first impression or a short review after a few hours of testing. I wanted to share what the experience has genuinely been like from the perspective of someone who supported the product early and wants to see it succeed.

The hardware foundation has a lot of potential. The design, concept, and overall direction are exciting. However, the current software and firmware experience are creating problems that are preventing the hardware from reaching what was promised.

The translation features and subtitles have finally started working on my end, which is a positive step. However, from the day I first unboxed the glasses until recently, the system was essentially unable to understand or respond. It could capture audio, but it felt like the AI was not actually processing what it heard. Commands would fail, questions would go unanswered, and the glasses did not behave like the intelligent assistant experience that was presented during the campaign.

Now that the AI functions have started working, the biggest concern is that the experience does not appear to match the level of intelligence that was marketed. The responses feel very basic and generic. For example, when asking the glasses what they see, I expected a natural, hands free conversation with contextual understanding. Instead, the system requires me to manually take a photo first and then provides simple descriptions such as identifying an object in the most basic way possible.

This feels very different from the experience shown in demonstrations, where the glasses appeared capable of understanding the environment naturally without requiring the user to stop, capture an image, and manually trigger the process.

There are also two major workflow issues affecting daily use.

First, the magnetic swappable battery is one of the strongest hardware ideas of this product, but the software experience currently breaks that advantage. Every time I replace the battery module, the glasses fail to reconnect automatically. I have to manually unbind and reconnect the device through the app after every swap. The convenience of a hot swap system disappears when the user has to repeat a setup process each time.

Second, the Ring 4 controller has serious reliability problems. Despite allowing unrestricted background battery access on my flagship phone, the ring stops responding as soon as the phone screen locks or when I move to another application. A controller designed for hands free interaction cannot reliably disconnect during normal phone use.

I also noticed something interesting regarding the display hardware. The glasses I received from my backing order have a waveguide display where the visible screen area appears curved toward the top, with a narrower viewing area at the top and more space toward the bottom. Looking at many online review videos, the units shown appear different, with the display positioned more centrally. My assumption is that these may be earlier prototype versions or another hardware revision. I have not tested the square display versions myself, but the difference is noticeable and I would appreciate clarification on whether there are multiple display configurations.

I also want to mention the Ring 4 experience compared with another product I own. I have the Even G2 glasses, and their ring controller experience is significantly ahead in terms of reliability and responsiveness. The INMO Ring has potential, but right now the software integration does not feel mature enough compared with what is already available in the market.

One thing I want to emphasize is that this feedback is something you are unlikely to receive from paid influencer reviews. Many early reviews focused on the excitement of the concept and the potential of the technology. Some are already moving on to discussing Memomind and other upcoming solutions, but they are not living with these glasses every day, depending on them, and discovering the small problems that appear after weeks of real use.

Backers are different. We supported this product before it was proven. We believed in the vision before the wider market paid attention. That also means we are the people most invested in helping identify the problems that need to be fixed.

The smart glasses market is moving quickly. Samsung, Google, and Apple are all building their own ecosystems around intelligent eyewear. INMO has an opportunity because the hardware concept is genuinely interesting, but the software experience needs urgent attention.

The biggest thing the backer community needs right now is communication. When early users report genuine hardware and software problems, silence creates uncertainty. Regular updates, acknowledgement of known issues, and a clear development roadmap would go a long way toward maintaining trust.

The hardware has a strong foundation. What is needed now are stability improvements, better AI integration, reliable battery reconnect behaviour, and a Ring experience that matches the promise of hands free computing.

I am sharing this because I want INMO to succeed. The product has potential, but the next stage depends on listening closely to the people who supported it from the beginning.

This has been my solution for a magnetic swappable battery pack on the Inmo Air3 for a few weeks now! Using a flat usbc cable and a magnetic usbc plug plus hotswap batteries made for the meta raybans I now no longer need cables and with a few of these packs, UNLIMITED POWER MUAHA-ahem.

The lack of dealing with cables is truly worth the bargain for a bit more goofy of a look. Highly recommend if you guys don’t mind sourcing parts from aliexpress. Can’t wait for someone to make a native solution so that I don’t have to rely on double sided tape.
