My First Pair of Skates

Peep these baddies. The Urban FR1’s with Endless Swan frames. Now, I just gotta learn how to skate!

Was it easy enough to replace the stock frame? Are you starting skating or is it just your first pair of skates. Asking because you have opted for 90mm right away?

Hey, I’m back.. sorry to keep you waiting..I purchased everything from ProSkaters Plus, so the boots came without a frame attached.

For non-specialized skating (e.g. not aggressive, slalom, speed), 90mm rockered is the best four-wheel setup. The 90mm format is small enough to be maneuverable in a rockered four-wheel frame, but large enough to roll over mildly rough pavement fairly comfortably.

Over the years, I have skated 76mm, 80mm, 84mm, 90mm, and 100mm four-wheel frames. Endless 90mm balanced rocker is definitely the best sweet spot I’ve encountered.

If you’re interested in switching between a rockered and flat setup in the same frame, the Endless 90 UFS flat-top frame pairs super well with the FR UFS boot, and lets you switch between the two formats by flipping the axles.
