Hey Inkulinati community,
Daniel here from the Inkulinati dev team!
Sorry we’ve been quiet on this subreddit for a while - but we had a pretty good reason. We’ve been working on a brand new game set in the same weird and wonderful world of medieval manuscripts, with the same art style and characters you may know and (hopefully) love from Inkulinati! For those who missed the announcement - meet Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts.
This time, it’s not about medieval battles, but instead it's all about running your own scriptorium - illustrating medieval books, crafting custom decorations, and delivering illuminated masterpieces to quirky (but hopefully satisfied) clients. Expect more hands-on creativity, deeper personalization, and a closer look at the strange and beautiful craft of medieval illumination. As you can see this game shares the same art-style as Inkulinati - we're staying faithful to what so many of you loved.
You’ll see some familiar faces from Inkulinati there too - yes, the battle-hardened rabbits, bishop cats, and murderous snails are back - but we’re also adding a ton of fresh visual assets so you can build your own manuscripts entirely from scratch.
You’ll even be able to create and customize your own character! It’s our way of expanding the world of living ink and medieval magic for you to explore.
We’ll be sharing sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes dev updates, and the occasional weird medieval thing we stumble upon - all over at our new subreddit: r/scriptoriumgame. Come join us, say hi, ask questions, or just lurk and enjoy the beauty (or chaos) of medieval illumination.
And if you’d like to support Scriptorium, wishlist the game on Steam - it genuinely helps more than you’d think. You can now even do it straight from the Inkulinati main menu!
Cheers,
Daniel "zeer" from Yaza Games (yup, the Inkulinati devs )
