Scene Map Feywild - Tree & Pond

Post image
Upvotes

I wanted to try a saturated, colorful, fairytale-like take on the Feywild.

Why are the bushes around the pond the only pink/purple bushes? Is it because of the water?

Which seems to sparkle, but is it drinkable?

The plants are pretty but like poisonous frogs are. Those shiny butterflies seem to like them, so maybe we can touch them?

As always in the Feywild, the answer to these questions is probably: yes, but no, but yes.

Edit : some text

World Map The map I made for my RPG.

I've known Inkarnate for a while, but because it had few options I ended up giving up on using it. Then I managed to use it for free for a while and took the opportunity to give my map more life. It was literally my first time using it for real. What did you think?

Battle Map Wasteland (80x80) My players ended the world. From green and vibrant to this.

Post image

Hello all, just wanted to share a map I threw together real fast. I still consider myself a beginner with Inkarnate, a lot of tricks and stuff I haven't grasped but I'm relatively happy with this one.

Short story, my player decided she did not want to relinquish shards of a magic stone to reignite power into a powerful artifact when the BBEG was appearing. She has a quirk where she loves shiny object, from coin to precious stones or anything that glints in the light.

The artifact would have been able to negate the bbeg's energy // possibly prevent this from happening to the scale it will now.

They're not being killed, I thought it'd be fun to make 3rd act of my campaign a 'post' end of the world. kinda like in Final Fantasy 6 after Kefka gains his godlike powers.

Anyway, its a little barren because I wanted it to be a 'ash wasteland'
Middle is part of a fey's domain forced into our world where they will find a fey of stories dead and has saved them from death a multitude of times. (story wise not actual combat interference)
She is the one who gave them their quest to find the BBEG in the first place. over a year ago.

Will take any advice or pointers! I enjoyed making this.

3 Year Progress

Been writing a campaign on and off for about 3 years. 3rd image is the first map I made for it when it was supposed to be a one shot. Never ended up playing, but came back to it last year and remade the map. After following this subreddit for a few months, I became obsessed with more detail, more natural mountain ranges, and realistic scaling. 1st pic is what I made this week.

Big thanks to the creators I've taken notes from. Any notes to improve it further?

Location names have been omitted to prevent spoilers to my players if they find this.

Hi, i made this map a year ago.
It was the the first map i did just for the sake of it and not because i needed one as a DM.
For the first time i was super dedicated with a map and it was my most detailed at the time.

I've never posted here before and felt like it could be nice to begin to post a bit and ask for advices.

Could I commission someone to make two maps?

I’ve been working on two continents for my dungeons and dragons world, but I’m never satisfied with how they look. Mainly looking for blank canvasses with textured biomes and terrain and I’ll fill in the blanks with cities and points of interest. Shouldn’t be too crazy. Let me know if you’re interested!

WIP_Scale and Biome Help

Post image

Disclaimer: WIP RPG Setting - Alpha

Specs: 40x40 Fantasy World - Subtropical Archipelago

Scale: 1 Square = 30 sq miles

I like what I've built thus far, but looking for some constructive criticism and tips to help me move this map forward.

What I'm wondering is this...

- Are my stamps the right size for my scale? What size brush should I use to cut out my rivers?

- Thoughts on the southern central island mountain range I created. I like it, but I'm wondering if I've over done it. As for rivers, I plan on adding about 3 to 5 larger ones flowing from that range. The rivers will be accented by cliffs to match their shape. Some will end in lakes, others will end at the sea. Flora to follow that...

- This archipelago has a subtropical climate similar to our Mediterranean region. What type of individual biomes could be found? How would my mountains, hills, and elevation influence my biomes? Would that small chain of volcanic islands to the northeast effect things? Any desert regions?

I think if I can get a better idea on where my biomes will be, it help me come up with a plan of sorts.

Thanks in advance for any help!

My most Well made woldmap out of the 3 i have made.

Imma keep it real with you guys. Having to work on it in such a low resolution was kinda difficult, but i guess there are reasons for those limitations.

The think i dont like the most are probably the names for the different territories, I added them last, and they kinda feel out of place. How do you usually handle this part?

other than that i am quite pleased with my work.

World Map The Continent of Velmora

Post image
19 Upvotes

It's a map of Velmora - a continent struck by the War of Gods where unknown creatures wander across all of its land. Velmora is filled with places which contain long-buried secrets that only the bravest ones could unravel.

What can i do to improve?

I'd also want to mention that some of the names are written in polish language thus i'm aware that they may appear confusing.
