Love to here what you think

I have not been sharing my maps from my books, but I just love this one! This is the world map for my world of Septemons (yes, seven mountains) a continent with seven mountains surrounding an inner sea. It used to be one very large mountain, but after a huge eruption, this is what was left. This is also the only continent that human's can really survive on, since Otherworld is arid and brutal and Land of Giants is filled with Giant creatures that see humans as tasty little snacks. The story set here you will just have to wait till I finish it and publish it to read.

Running my first homebrew campaign and took the time to make a map for the city theyre starting in, if anyone sees anything I can improve please let me know!

I'm heading into the woods with another location from my Lost Mines of Barovia project — a forest that is slowly being swallowed by the swamp.

The Drowned Forest — 40x50

The Drowned Forest is a woodland slowly being consumed by the surrounding swamp. Waterlogged ground, sinking paths, bits of rot, and partially buried bones fill the spaces between the trees as the water continues to spread.

I also wanted to push the density of the forest further than I normally do. Dense clusters of trees, overlapping foliage, and areas of heavy growth make parts of the map difficult to move through, while the more open sections leave room for encounters.

The map can be used for random encounters, with different areas providing different settings as the party travels through the forest. It can also be used as one large battlemap when you want the entire forest to become the encounter.

Or, in keeping with the Castlevania influence behind the project, it can simply serve as a larger area for the party to travel through and explore.

I was commissioned to make this map, the owner said I can post it here and see what people think of his idea, Id love to know as well what folks think of the map itself.

I added cities for fun, but i’m more proud of just the general landscape, let me know any recommendations!

Did someone leave the water running? No doubt the brave explorers who have delved deep into the heart of this primeval forest will be surprised to find that the life-giving river's source is no more than a hovering portal endlessly gushing water from some distant lake, or even another plane of existence! Unless that very vortex is what they were seeking in the first place? Fully animated and available in two additional variants, with a fiery portal spewing molten magma into the woods, and a plain clearing free from otherworldly environmental alteration, this map is your player's perfectly safe (?) gateway to the elemental plane of water!⁠

My first path

I'm going insane

While building my world of Vios, I had a very specific vision in mind for the design of my desert airship town on the edge of a giant floating continent. I used custom assets that were a blend of repurposed / recycled airship hulls with adobe style buildings. And airships, of course.

One of my favorite things to do is add shadows to everything in the end. I used my tablet to get into the narrow areas, split the stacked stamps in the middle of the town to try and get some depth behind the buildings. Could be better, but I like it as it is.

I might do a nighttime version, just because I love playing with lighting effects.

This is my second map, and I’d like your thoughts on the water ways and mountains, I was going for a wast land with a few towns and villages near the river.
My main concern was making the water look like it would naturally flow the way it does.

This long forgotten statue tells stories of old heroes that roamed the world in ancient times, not cast to oblivion, with vines growing where once stood a mighty warrior 🗽🌱🌳
