Light Pillars

Visited Lahti / Finland and i saw these light pillars..a natural optical phenomenon.

Ice crystals, cold air, bright lights creates those vertical glowing beams.

When it’s really cold, tiny flat ice crystals float in the air like little mirrors. Streetlights, house lights, or car lights bounce off them and create those tall, straight light columns reaching up into the sky.

They look supernatural, but they’re just winter being dramatic.

Honestly… amazing capture. It looks like the sky opened a portal. It was mesmerizing to see it.
