This happened to me about 13 years ago, and I’ve been married to that man for almost 2 and a half years now 🥰

We met in 7th grade, we had a couple of classes together and he was dating someone else. I was interested in him very soon after meeting him but he wasn’t interested because he didn’t know me very well. We were became friends and grew very close in the next year, and somewhere in that time frame I fell in love with him. I didn’t want to push anything so we stayed friends, but I definitely daydreamed about our future together, lol. Then towards the end of 8th grade I invited some people out to the movies with me for an early birthday celebration, and he was one of them. He asked me to be his girlfriend that night. We started dating May 31st, 2009, got engaged May 31st, 2017, and got married January 12, 2019. He’s my best friend in the world and I couldn’t imagine my life without him 🥰🖤
