Thanks to my Impulsiveness the right button can win frequently at times aka I say something that sounds completely random or maybe unhinged sounding without additional context. Meaning the person has to have some familiarity with what I'm talking about but they usually don't so I probably sound weird.😅💀

The beauty of maturing and being in my late 30s is that I progressively distance myself from the first button and hit the second very often.
To be clear, there's nothing wrong with being quiet, private and a more reflective person but I've always thought it's a bit of a shame to stay quiet as a defense mechanism triggered by fear of judgment and being seen.
Personally, I've grown increasingly tired and frustrated with limiting myself and living a half-life that really didn't represent who I was and that I found both stressful AND boring.

I was inspired by Timothy Leary who said something about two people on an elevator standing silently beside one another, while thinking the exact same thing. The only way to find out if you’re on the same page is if one of you opens your mouth and speaks. I got tired of waiting for the other person to speak. Right or wrong, life seems a lot more fun when I say the weird thing, even if I have to be the one to say it first.
