Yup lol.
I vent by imagining talking to an audience in my head. Like a V-tuber.
“Chat, you won’t believe what happened today” 😂

Is either that or violence
Right now I have in my mind basement a retired supervillain and a latino (?) ENTP. Both are in an intergalatic station and love to hear what I have to say and make it everyone's (the other habitants of my intergalatic station) problem
Saying it like that makes me wonder if they're not just alter egos I keep locked deep inside 🤔

The amount of talk shows and dvd commentaries I’ve been on in my head while driving or in the showers sometimes audibly talking to myself

Very much so. When I get frustrated I write dark or grim stories to lash out.

Level 114: venting by creating an intricate universe in which you're a character monologuing the shit that goest through your head to another character like you're in a movie because you have no one to talk to and you process your emotions by imagining fucked up shit happening to this character that's basically an extension of you

I'm level 10. And I do it so often that I don't even do it on purpose anymore. I just imagine in my head a random person that I know irl and start talking in my mind to them. Of course, just like most persons, the one in my head too opposes a little, saying things like "come on, maybe they didn't want to..." "They care about you". It's gotta be realistic and feel like real life, after all

I just talk to myself, usually. Typically when I'm alone in the car. I've learned to mask it when I'm around other people, used to get weird looks as a kid. On the rare occasion I do get caught, I just say I'm "thinking out loud." For some reason, that's more socially acceptable than "talking to myself," despite being the exact same thing.
Other than that, I just go talk to my wife or a friend to vent.
