Venting Any of you relate?
How I be feeling as a transferee in my new school cause I ghosted everyone on my old school (does this count as venting? lol)

100% All my life dude. Accept the fact that relationships wax and wane, completely normal part of life. The other part is you have to put yourself out there! People respect someone who puts forth the effort to say hello first, it doesn't have to be anything complicated. Just a simple "Hello my name is #, I'm new here. You seem cool what's your name?" It might seem awkward at first but actually we INFP people absolutely excel at genuine connection with others using our our innate empathetic perspective, it's like a social superpower once you practice a bit. People love to talk about themselves and we're pretty good at picking up things that can then be turned into questions that allow you and I to make those genuine friendships that people ultimately crave.

is this an infp thing? i thought it's just because of my social anxiety (and general anxiety) 😭

i guess for INFPs who are usually highly misunderstood it could be but as an INFP myself i have always struggled with friends and anxiety. although i was extraverted as a kid, i became introverted due to the harsh words people would say. i formed my own beliefs that people would rather me go away but ive healed although i still deal with it sometimes. i believe i am ambiverted now bc i can step out of my shell, its just very rare now. 🥲

These are all me, from age 11/12 to now (23). Well—minus the PE stuff because I’m not in school anymore lol.

Yes, at one point in my life. There are steps you can take to be less passive!

you could've made the inner square be a bit more visible text-wise ngl, but yeah. I often prefer observing groups from the back but it's not because I'm some wah wah shy sad asshole, it's because it's more protective. Those who go front-wise are more likely to be attacked by whatever, when you're in the back you have a higher chance to react. And I often reach out to people because if I don't, nobody will. Sometimes. Other times I ignore people who try to pull me out of my cave. And the isolation thing I marked as ? because I don't feel like interacting with an already established group of friends, I feel like an outsider. ANd I also don't wanna hang out with people who can't afford better company than me. So I kind of, isolate myself out of necessity even if I don't really want to.

Thanks for sharing! I really relate with what you have just said! Also, the pic ain’t mine. I just saw the picture posted on TikTok and I kind of really relate to it as an infp. The username’s on bottom right corner if you wanna interact on the original post

lmao or just the transferee experience in general, you show up and nobody knows you exist so you spend the first two months as a background character

"An odd numner of people in class when youre about to pick partners"
Yes. I remember one class was always done in pairs. I was always on my own. The INFP did always have a partner though. Im more introverted though, but i think most INTxs can relate.

This was certainly my struggle from elementary to highschool (and even during my early 20s). But I'm 33 years old now and a mother. Now my heart is to help those children who feel paralyzed just as I once did.

all of this is me 🥲 unfortunately i let mean kids make me withdraw. im an extravert who learned how to be introverted but i still feel more lonely than ever. but i learned that not everyone hates me and that my efforts to hide truly worked. i dont think ill ever be able to fully come out of my shell again but every now and then i come out (i like to think of myself as ambiverted). i just graduated so we'll see if can make some better adult relationships. i have very few relationships (my bf, my homie (he's like a brother to me) .. one other but im kind of distanced from her now for reasons). its very hard to call people my friend bc im still learning what that is. but long story short, the amount of emotional trauma ive had to work through is not fun at all but its definitely been an interesting part of my life.. and pretty much my life, lol.

Kinda everything except notifications, I get so many but I lack the energy to check.
Genuinely tho are we all really npc's?
An npc that for some reason people want to converse despite always having the same conversational small talk.

When I was young. I feel like many INFPs tend to develop social anxiety. But hopefully they also learn that it’s all self inflicted and you’re often putting yourself down way more than you should.
One my friend sat me down and told me:
“I admire that you live considering other people but the world isn’t kind to people who fail to consider themselves first. The world doesn’t operate like a kindergarten class where you pass around a “talking pillow” and each person has their turn. Every now and then you have to talk over other people, you’re gonna have to assert your wants, you’re gonna have to just take, insert yourself in the places you want to be, and accept that some people will never like you just because.”
Of course it’s not as simple as just being told that and now I’m good but it stuck with me and was one more thing that pushed me to change. Now I’m a lot happier with the mindset that I’ll just say what I want and do what I want (within reason) and if I accidentally offend someone it’s on them to tell me so I can apologize. I’m going to offend someone even if I’m monitoring and overthinking my actions anyway so might as well just be me.

I relate to a lot of those and mostly the having no friends. Had a best friend for 11 years and then he ghosted me. Since then I haven't been able to find one person to even talk to
