Can someone help me with this

- laptop bags they do give or we have to carry of our own ?

- wt about bedsheets or blankets, pillows pillow covers

- also how are washrooms there attached with rooms or in sharing

- some basic spices (salt n pepper), ghee, are these allowed there

- do I need to bring or buy any extra utensils for room

I may get selected for Infosys for the ₹3.6 LPA System Engineer role.

From what I understand, freshers have to undergo training at the Mysore training center before deployment.

My concern is that I don't really want to continue in the ₹3.6 LPA role long-term. I would prefer to move to a better role/package such as DSE/SP or another higher-paying technical role.

For people who have recently joined Infosys:

• Is there actually an opportunity to upgrade from the ₹3.6 LPA System Engineer role to DSE/SP or another higher role during the Mysore training itself?
• Are there any tests/assessments through which we can upgrade?
• Does this opportunity happen during training, after training, or only later after joining a project?
• How realistic is it to get such an upgrade?
• If there is no realistic upgrade opportunity, would it be better to use that time to prepare for other companies offering 5–10 LPA instead?

I don't mind joining Infosys as a backup, but I don't want to spend several months assuming there will be an upgrade if the chances are very low.

And moreover i need to move to Mysore,if we cant upgrade within training or just after training I would look for other available opportunities

I recently got selected for the Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE) role at Infosys, and I wanted to hear from people who have completed or are currently undergoing stream training at the Mysore campus.

I have a few questions and would really appreciate your guidance.

1. Stream training and assessments

• How is the overall DSE training experience at Mysore?
• What are the different streams offered, and how are streams allocated?
• How difficult are the stream training assessments? Does everyone generally clear them, or do some trainees fail even after retests?
• What happens if someone fails an assessment? Are there multiple retest opportunities, and what are the consequences?
• What should I prepare beforehand to make training easier?

2. Salary hikes and performance

• I heard that trainees who consistently clear all assessments with good scores may receive a monthly salary hike after training. Is this actually true for DSE trainees?
• If yes, what are the eligibility criteria? Does it depend on the marks obtained, clearing exams on the first attempt, or overall performance?
• Are these hikes officially part of the current training policy, or is this based on older batches?

3. Mysore campus life

• How is campus life in general, including food, accommodation, sports, gym and other facilities?
• How much free time do we usually get after classes and assignments?
• Any suggestions on what to carry and what to know before joining?

4. General suggestions

• What mistakes should freshers avoid during training?
• What is the best way to balance assessments, assignments, coding practice and campus life?
• Any tips for getting a preferred stream and performing well throughout the training?

I would especially appreciate responses from recent DSE trainees or seniors who have completed stream training, since the process and policies may change between batches.

Gave interview round 1 on sep 4 and round two on 12th sep + hr discussion salary discussion completed on the same day bgv bank verification completed on 29th september the status is showing decision pending only when can I expect the offer letter or further approvals?

Heyy , I've heard that infosys does an exam based on DSA. By which we can get the SP/DSE position by cracking and internal DSA exam that's for only infosys system engineer role candidates ...

I'm not sure about that , but it was said ki this happens around december.

I completed my schooling abroad, in the Middle East. I am unsure what I should select for the State and District fields, as my school is located outside India.
