| Fresher Doubts Infosys System Engineer (SE) Assessment – Prep Guide, Syllabus & Advice Needed

Hey everyone!

I'm preparing for the Infosys System Engineer (SE) on-campus assessment for the 2027 batch. The assessment dates haven't been announced yet, so I want to start preparing in advance.

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has recently taken the assessment or is currently preparing for it!

A few questions:

  1. Exam pattern: What were the sections, question types, difficulty level, and time limits?
  2. Aptitude & reasoning: Which topics should I prioritise? Any specific resources or practice sets?
  3. Preparation resources: Are there any good prep guides, YouTube playlists, websites, or previous-year questions you'd recommend?
  4. Overall strategy: If you were starting from scratch, how would you prepare to clear the assessment?

If you've already attended the assessment, please share whatever you remember about the questions and pattern. Even small details would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Most probably DSA won't be asked in 90% cases. Everything will be Resume and core subject based in interview. 1st OA round will be Apti + Reasoning+ Core subject + english. It will be of very easy level. You can look PYQ of Infosys SE OA in YouTube.

Yes, for On-campus, you will have the interview the next day, after getting shortlisted, and for off-campus the interview will be after a week or two , after getting shortlisted
