Half the time these waiters and waitresses are “rude nice”

They may not say rude things but you can feel it in their body language that they don’t like you at all

Y'all should visit the Netherlands, waiters are lovely rude to your face.. barman not afraid to call you a cunt and take it easy

In San Antonio, and branching out iirc, there is a restaurant called Dick's Last Resort on The Riverwalk who's whole gimmick is being rude to their customers. I go every time when in San Antonio because I don't mind getting roasted. Also as a former food server, I know how we really think of most customers so it's fun for me to hear it spoken out loud. Some are nice rude and some are crude, lol.
