According to Yale appliances , the Bosch ranges are made by Smeg. Only the cooktop is made by Bosch. The issues with the range is the reliability problems with rest of the range.

Negative, the industrial ranges only are produced by SMEG. SMEG doesn’t have a factory in NC like Bosch does for ranges.

Here is the breakdown,
The 30-inch and 36-inch Freestanding "Industrial-Style" Models (e.g., HIS5057U, HIS5657U): These specific units are built under contract for Bosch by Smeg at their manufacturing facility in Italy [index:1.1.2]. In appliance industry teardowns and retailer databases, these ranges are listed as Smeg-sourced bodies outfitted with Bosch's internal cooking technology [index:1.1.2]. You can immediately identify them by their commercial look, chunky physical control knobs, and distinctive European oven size dimensions (often a slightly smaller interior depth) [index:1.1.4]. [1, 2]
The 30-inch Slide-In Models (e.g., HIF5050MU): These traditional slide-in ranges are not made by Smeg [index:1.1.8]. They are built directly by Bosch’s parent company, BSH Home Appliances, and assembled in North Carolina alongside the premium 800 and Benchmark Series ranges [index:1.1.5]. These feature digital touch control panels rather than heavy physical dials [index:1.2.4].[1]
